Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
Correlating printed prescription labels with prescriptions, patient profiles or other information Processing completed prescriptions for patients Operating the patient notification system Investigating/resolving patient problems and maintaining workflow in this area Filling full range of prescribed medications for waiting patients, as well as for mail order requests Work Schedule:

United States Citizenship Certification - All applicants for this position must possess certification by the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) English Language Proficiency Experience - To be considered for this position, all applicants must possess one year of experience at the next lower grade level (GS-05) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
To be considered for this position, all applicants must demonstrate the following technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Ability to solve problems and make recommendations, e.g., troubleshoot operational problems and refer for appropriate action; 2. Knowledge of the operation and care of automated equipment; 3. Knowledge of, and ability to follow, written instructions for compounding with aseptic technique for hazardous materials such as oncology agents; 4. Knowledge, and ability to perform, compounding with aseptic technique for routine sterile products; 5. Knowledge of policies and procedures for inventory management in specialized areas such as emergency carts; AND 6. Knowledge of the computerized prescription process demonstrated by the ability to input prescriptions and medication orders. References:

Walking, bending, stooping, sitting and standing for long periods of time are required. Lifting, moving, stacking or otherwise manipulating packages weighing up to 45 pounds may be required. Electronic data entry and reading and working with figures for prolonged periods may also be required. Physical and emotional stress may result from the technical workload pressures inherent in this position. Work is performed in patient care areas and in the pharmacy, where there is potential for exposure to communicable diseases. Such areas are adequately heated, and ventilated, and normal safety precautions are required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
