Health Systems Specialist (Connected Care Business Operations Manager)

The incumbent is considered an expert in a full range of administrative requirements that include, but are not limited to, designing and coordinating processes and systems to monitor Connected Care administrative operations. Independently handles issues related to the assessment of administrative and clinic daily and future operations (e.g., data tools used, efficiency and productivity assessments, data integrity, business analysis of data generated). Ensures reports are sent and/or directly responds to VISN 10 inquiries on behalf of the medical center in matters related to access to wait times, clinic operating efficiency and productivity, demand forecasts, and business case analysis. The incumbent works in tandem with clinic practice management. This position is location is the Chillicothe, VAMC and does include travel as required. Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:
The incumbent plans and conducts studies, leads special projects, prepares program and organizational strategies for identifying opportunities to improve access and efficiency related Connected Care programs Develops and maintains an adequate Connected Care-specific communication and coordination plans for all internal providers and clinical staff. The incumbent studies and analyzes program specific-data; compiles final reports of evaluation efforts, notes discrepancies, and plans initiatives for effecting actions and/or reaching established goals Develops written communication for the Connected Care Chief, to include but not limited to, correspondence, actions, program evaluations such as access and efficiency assessments, position/option papers, policy statements and reports that are provided to multiple stakeholders to include internal and external customers such as employees, VISN and VACO representatives, Congressional delegates, and Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs). Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-12 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-11 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Missions, organizations, programs, and requirements of health care delivery systems; Regulations and standards of various regulatory and credentialing groups; and Government-wide, agency, and facility systems and requirements in various administrative areas such as budget, personnel, and procurement You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
