Clinical Pharmacist

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Providing appropriate selection of drug therapy Monitoring efficacy, side effects and clinical outcomes Advising prescribers Providing patient-specific therapeutic drug monitoring and communicating findings and/or recommendations to other health care providers Performing continuous evaluation of prescribed medications to assure optimal drug therapy Work Schedule:

United States Citizenship Education:
Applicants for this position must be graduates of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)-accredited College or School of Pharmacy with a baccalaureate degree in pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) and/or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Licensure:
Applicants must have and maintain a full, current and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State, Territory, Commonwealth of the United States (i.e., Puerto Rico), or the District of Columbia. English Language Proficiency Grade Determinations for GS-12:
Experience and Education:
In addition to the basic requirements, candidates must meet one of the following:
One year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11); OR Completion of an ACPE-accredited Pharm.D. program. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
Pharmacists assigned to this position must demonstrate the following KSAs:
a. Knowledge of professional pharmacy practice; b. Ability to communicate orally and in writing to both patients and health care staff; c. Knowledge of laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to the distribution and control of scheduled and non-scheduled drugs and pharmacy security; d. Skill in monitoring and assessing the outcome of drug therapies, including physical assessment and interpretation of laboratory and other diagnostic parameters. Reference:

Incumbent may be subjected to the following:
moderate lifting of 15-44 pounds; moderate carrying of 15-44 pounds; straight pulling not to exceed one hour; pushing not exceed two hours; reaching above shoulders; use of fingers; walking not to exceed eight hours; standing not exceed eight hours; near vision correctable at 13' to 16' to Jaeger 1 to 4; far vision correctable in one eye to 20/50 to 20/100 in the other; ability to distinguish basic colors; ability to distinguish shades of colors; and hearing aids permitted.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
